ARC International plc appoints new chief financial officer
ARC International plc, (LSE:ARK), a leader in semiconductor and
software technology licensing, today announces that it has appointed
Monica Johnson as its new Chief Financial Officer and senior vice
president. In this role she will report to Mike Gulett, ARC's CEO, and
will not be a member of the board of directors.
Monica Johnson will take up her post from 28th June 2002 and will
be based in ARC's offices in San Jose, California. Monica replaces
Simon Poulton, who has today resigned as CFO and company director
because he was unable to relocate to the company's California offices.
Simon has been at the company since January 2000 and the Board extends
grateful thanks for his contribution.
Monica Johnson (39 years) has held several senior level finance
and accounting positions at Hewlett Packard's Semiconductor Products
Group, where she worked for ten years. Her most recent assignment was
the Chief Financial Officer at Webvan Group, a US online retail and
delivery service. She holds an MBA from Cornell University, NY and a
BA in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
