                    Notification of Major Interests in Shares

ARC International was notified on 8 March 2007 by Gartmore Investment Management
Limited that, following a purchase of 1,700,000 ordinary shares of 0.1 pence
each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") made on 6 March, Gartmore Investment
Limited, Gartmore Fund Managers Limited and Gartmore Global Partners have an
interest of 17,701,191 Ordinary Shares, representing 11.69% of the Company's
issued share capital and voting rights.

This disclosure is made pursuant to the obligations laid down in Section DTR5 of
the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
