ARC International plc - Trading Update

ARC International plc (LSE:ARK), the semiconductor and software technology
licensing company, today announces that results for the third quarter and nine
months to 30 September 2003 will be published on Thursday 23 October. A
conference call for analysts will take place at 2.30pm GMT. Dial in details will
be provided.

Group revenues for the third quarter of 2003 are expected to be £2.5 million. A
full breakdown of the third quarter results will be provided on the day of
results.
