INTERIM RESULTS FOR THE SIX MONTHS ENDED 30 JUNE 2006

Amlin plc, the leading Lloyd's insurer, will be announcing its interim results
for the six months ended 30 June 2006 on Monday 4 September 2006.

The analysts' meeting will be held on Monday 4 September at Amlin's head office,
10th Floor, St Helen's, 1 Undershaft, London, EC3A 8ND. Coffee will be served at
9.45am for a prompt 10.00am start. Please register to attend by e-mailing
