APPLICATION FOR LISTING

Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority for the block listing of
998,745 Amlin plc Ordinary Shares of 25p each fully paid, ranking, when issued,
pari passu in all respects with the existing issued ordinary shares, to be
admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the
London Stock Exchange. These shares will be allotted pursuant to the exercise of
options under the following schemes, as and when such options are exercised:-
