                               Additional Listing

A listing application has been made by Amlin plc (the 'Company') for 533,940
ordinary shares of 25p each in the Company to be admitted to the Official List
of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange. The
shares will be issued fully paid and will rank pari passu in all respects with
the existing issued ordinary shares of the Company.

These shares are being issued to the trustee of the Amlin Share Incentive Plan
2006 in connection with a Free Shares award being made to all eligible employees
on 5 April 2007.
