Application For Listing

Amlin Plc
                  

Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority for the block listing of
675,379 Amlin plc Ordinary Shares of 25p each to be admitted to the Official
List of the UK Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange.
These shares will be issued fully paid and will rank pari passu in all respects
with the existing issued ordinary shares (other than with the ordinary shares
issued on 28 November 2005 in relation to a rights issue, which do not rank for
the final dividend in respect of the year ending 31 December 2005).

These shares will be allotted pursuant to the exercise of options under the
Amlin 1998 Savings-Related Share Option Scheme, as and when such options are
exercised.
