NOTICE OF ANNUAL RESULTS FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2003

Amlin plc, the leading Lloyd's insurer, will be announcing its annual results
for the year ended 31 December 2003 on Wednesday 10 March 2004.

An analysts' meeting will be held at 10.00am on Wednesday 10 March 2004 at

Amlin's head office, 10th Floor, St Helen's, 1 Undershaft, London, EC3A 8ND.
Analysts who wish to attend and who have not received formal notification should

provide 'dial-in' details. Details of the webcast arrangements will also be

meeting.
