NOTIFICATION OF ANALYSTS' MEETING ON IFRS
Amlin plc announces that it will be holding an analysts' meeting at its offices
at St Helen's, 1 Undershaft, London EC2A 8ND at 12.30pm on Wednesday 10 August
2005 on the effects on Amlin of the introduction of International Financial
Reporting Standards ('IFRS'). This will follow an announcement on the subject to
be made at 7.30am that morning.
Analysts who wish to attend and who do not shortly receive a personal invitation

It is also confirmed that Amlin's Interim Results for the six months ended 30
June 2005 are expected to be announced on Monday 5 September 2005. At 10.00am
that day there will be an analysts' meeting at the same venue as on 11 August.

will take place on that occasion should either contact Hannah Bale for access
