Preliminary Notice of Results dates for 2005

NOTIFICATION OF 2005 DATES

Amlin plc's Preliminary Results for the year ending 31 December 2004 are
expected to be announced on Thursday 10 March 2005. Its Annual General Meeting
will take place at the Company's offices at St Helen's, 1 Undershaft, London
EC4A 8ND at noon on Wednesday 18 May 2005.

Its Interim Results for the six months ending 30 June 2005 are expected to be
announced on Monday 5 September 2005.

Further details of analysts' meetings to be held on 10 March and 5 September
will be announced and circulated nearer the time.
