C&C Group plc (“C&C” or the “Group”), a manufacturer, marketer and distributor of branded cider and beer, announces that it has received notification of early termination of the waiting period under the US Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act in relation to its proposed acquisition of the Vermont Hard Cider Company, LLC. Subject to satisfaction of the other customary completion conditions, it is now able to proceed to completion of the acquisition.
