British Gas Business to acquire BizzEnergy customers

Centrica plc, through its British Gas Business division, today announced that it
has reached agreement to acquire the customers of BizzEnergy Ltd for a cash
consideration of £3.5 million after the privately-owned energy supplier was
taken into administrative receivership.

All of BizzEnergy's 40,000 electricity customers across SME and Corporate
markets, transferred to British Gas Business under the deal, will maintain their
existing contract terms and conditions.

Badar Khan, Managing Director of British Gas Business, said:

'BizzEnergy customers can rest assured that we will ensure a seamless transition
to British Gas Business, with no change to their energy supply contracts.'
