Centrica plc (“the Company”) received notice on 19 January 2011 (under the obligations imposed by Section 5 of the FSA's Disclosure & Transparency Rules), that on 17 January 2011, INVESCO Limited had a notifiable interest in 259,495,719 ordinary shares of 6^14/81 pence each in the Company, representing approximately 5.03% of the Company’s issued share capital.
