Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 22 May 2013, it purchased (through UBS Limited) 1,200,000 (one million two hundred thousand) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 393.2980 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 395.00 pence and 392.50 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Following the above purchase, Centrica plc holds 20,553,112 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,179,376,580 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
