Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 23 May 2013, it purchased (through UBS Limited) 1,200,000 (one million two hundred thousand) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 391.1898 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 392.90 pence and 388.80 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Following the above purchase, Centrica plc holds 21,753,112 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,178,176,580 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
