Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 29 May 2013, it purchased (through UBS Limited) 1,800,000 (one million eight hundred thousand) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 380.3320 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 390.0 pence and 376.50 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Following the above purchase, Centrica plc holds 25,918,365 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,174,011,327 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
