Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 31 May 2013, it purchased (through Goldman Sachs International) 1,187,234 (one million one hundred and eighty seven thousand, two hundred and thirty four) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 3.80816 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 383.40 pence and 375.70 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Following the above purchase, Centrica plc holds 24,116,555 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,175,813,137 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
