Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 13 May 2013, it purchased (through UBS Limited) 600,000 (six hundred thousand) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 380.6088 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 381.55 pence and 379.00 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Following the above purchase, Centrica plc holds 12,497,122 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,187,432,570 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
