Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 15 May 2013, it purchased (through UBS Limited) 1,200,000 (one million two hundred thousand) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 385.4444 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 385.90 pence and 383.80 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Following the above purchase, Centrica plc holds 14,856,381 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,185,073,311 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
