Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 21 May 2013, it purchased (through UBS Limited) 1,200,000 (one million two hundred thousand) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 393.1233 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 394.90 pence and 391.10 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Following the above purchase, Centrica plc holds 19,362,114 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,180,567,578 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
