Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 7 June 2013, it purchased (through Goldman Sachs International) 1,175,000 (one million one hundred and seventy five thousand) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 360.2385 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 364.10 pence and 358.40 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 25,696,923 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,174,232,769 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
