Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 12 July 2013, it purchased (through Goldman Sachs International) 493,387 (four hundred and ninety three thousand, three hundred and eighty seven) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 371.9061 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 374.00 pence and 370.30 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 46,685,920 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,153,243,772 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
