Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 17 July 2013, it purchased (through Goldman Sachs International) 216,432 (two hundred and sixteen thousand four hundred and thirty two) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 378.7632 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 380.00 pence and 377.70 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 48,165,803 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,151,763,889 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
