Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 21 June 2013, it purchased (through Goldman Sachs International) 1,200,000 (one million, two hundred thousand) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 361.1991 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 364.90 pence and 358.50 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 34,832,417 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,165,097,275 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
