Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 5 September 2013, it purchased (through Goldman Sachs International) 1,000,000 (one million) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 392.6040 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 396.00 pence and 389.20 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 55,620,313 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,144,309,379 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
