Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 7 October 2013, it purchased (through Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited) 1,200,000 (one million, two hundred thousand) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 365.29 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 366.50 pence and 363.30 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 72,268,590 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,127,661,102 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
