Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 14 October 2013, it purchased (through Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited) 1,000,000 (one million) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 359.56 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 361.40 pence and 358.50 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 78,232,409 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,121,697,283 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
