Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 14 March 2013, it purchased (through UBS Limited) 1,100,000 (one million one hundred thousand) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 355.9356 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 358.10 pence and 354.90 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Following the above purchase, Centrica plc holds 9,710,000 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,190,058,557 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
