Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 9 August 2013, it purchased (through Goldman Sachs International) 200,000 (two hundred thousand) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 392.1967 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 393.00 pence and 391.50 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 49,170,054 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,150,759,638 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
