Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 19 March 2013, it purchased (through UBS Limited) 1,100,000 (one million one hundred thousand) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 353.0307 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 355.0 pence and 349.3 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Following the above purchase, Centrica plc holds 13,510,000 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,186,290,459 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
