Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 13 December 2013, it purchased (through UBS Limited) 1,100,000 (one million, one hundred thousand) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 322.4149 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 323.40 pence and 321.00 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 112,746,064 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,087,183,628 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
