Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 26 September 2013, it purchased (through Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited) 1,300,000 (one million, three hundred thousand) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 367.46 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 371.40 pence and 365.40 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 64,023,290 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,135,906,402 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
