Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 7 March 2014, it purchased (through UBS Limited) 1,000,000 (one million) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 324.5103 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 326.30 pence and 321.60 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 126,538,102 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,073,391,590 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
