Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 15 April 2014, it purchased (through UBS Limited) 1,000,000 (one million) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 341.377 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 343.20 pence and 338.00 pence respectively. The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares.

On 15 April 2014, Centrica plc cancelled 14,786,703 ordinary shares which were held as treasury shares which represents 0.29% of the Company’s issued share capital.

As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 53,163,656 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,053,468,398 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
