Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 16 April 2014, it purchased (through UBS Limited) 1,000,000 (one million) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 342.98 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 344.20 pence and 341.30 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 54,163,656 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,052,468,398 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
