Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 17 April 2014, it purchased (through UBS Limited) 1,000,000 (one million) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 343.9057 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 345.20 pence and 340.20 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 55,157,345 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,051,474,709 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
