Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 8 August 2014, it purchased (through Barclays Bank PLC) 1,000,000 (one million) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 307.0540 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 307.90 pence and 306.00 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 64,932,366 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,029,944,026 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
