Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 11 August 2014, it purchased (through Barclays Bank PLC) 1,000,000 (one million) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 307.9655 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 308.70 pence and 307.20 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 65,932,366 ordinary shares in treasury and has 5,028,944,026 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
