Mercator Gold plc announces that further to its news release of 14 September 2010, the date of the extraordinary meeting (“the EM”) of convertible loan note holders was erroneously given therein as Tuesday 28 September 2010.

The EM will be held at the offices of Cobbetts LLP at 70 Gray’s Inn Road, London WC1X 8BT on Wednesday 29 September 2010 at 11.00am.
