London: 6 January 2012 - ECR Minerals plc advises that on 5 January 2012, the Company was notified by N&J Mitchell Holdings Pty Ltd, as trustee for the Steinepreis Superannuation Fund (“N&J Mitchell”), that following the issue of 37,460,000 ordinary shares of the Company of 0.1 pence (“Ordinary Shares”) announced on 20 December 2011, N&J Mitchell no longer has a notifiable interest in the issued share capital of the Company. The Company has a total of 639,806,081 Ordinary Shares in issue with each carrying the right to one vote.
