Notification of Transactions of Directors/Persons Discharging Managerial
Responsibility and Connected Persons
Please accept this notification by General Electric Company ('GE') as required
by DR 3.1.4R(1) of the UK Disclosure Rules.
1) Effective August 17, 2005, an Executive Officer, Robert C. Wright sold 50,000
GE shares in the open market in the following lots:
a. 10,000 shares at $34.25
b. 10,000 shares at $34.30
c. 20,000 shares at $34.35
d. 10,000 shares at $34.12
2) Effective August 18, 2005, an Executive Officer, James A. Parke, exercised
198,000 options. The securities were converted on a 1-for-1 basis at a price of
$10.65 per option. A same day sale of 119,425 GE common shares in the open
market at an average price of $34.1025 took place in order to cover the exercise
costs and taxes incurred.
A Form 144 disclosing the sale described above was sent via Fed Ex to the SEC on
August 15, 2005.
Forms 4 disclosing the transactions described in paragraphs 1 and 2 were filed
with the SEC on August 18, 2005.
