Paula McGlarry Named General Counsel of Oliver Wyman Group

Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. (NYSE: MMC), a global professional services firm providing advice and solutions in risk, strategy and human capital, announced today that Paula McGlarry has been named General Counsel of Oliver Wyman Group, the Company’s management consulting subsidiary. Ms. McGlarry reports to Peter J. Beshar, Executive Vice President & General Counsel of Marsh & McLennan Companies, and John Drzik, President and CEO of Oliver Wyman.

Ms. McGlarry also joins the Oliver Wyman Group Management Committee and the Oliver Wyman Global Leadership Team. In addition to leading Oliver Wyman’s global legal team and advising the firm’s leaders on legal matters, Paula will continue to provide counsel on acquisitions and strategic hires in support of the firm’s growth strategy.

Ms. McGlarry, who is based in New York, joined the Oliver Wyman Legal team in 2003 and was appointed Deputy General Counsel in 2010. She also served as the firm’s Acting Chief Risk & Compliance Officer in 2011. Prior to joining Oliver Wyman, Ms. McGlarry was a mergers and acquisitions lawyer at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius. She holds an A.B. in psychology and political science from Duke University and a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.
