2009 Fourth Quarter & Full Year Results

02 February, 2010: Smurfit Kappa Group plc (‘SKG’ or the ‘Group’), one of the world’s largest integrated manufacturers of paper-based packaging products with operations in Europe and Latin America, today announced that it will release 2009 fourth quarter and full year results on Wednesday, 10 February, 2010 at 07.00 GMT (02.00 ET).

The Group’s senior management team will host a results presentation, for analysts & institutional investors, at 08.30 GMT (03.30 ET) on Wednesday, 10 February, in the Forum Room at The London Stock Exchange.

The results presentation will be followed by the Group’s Capital Markets Day, “Corrugated Packaging, A Service Business”. This event is also taking place in the Forum Room at the London Stock Exchange from 10.00 – 12.30 GMT (05.00 – 07.30 ET). There is no conference call link to this event.

The Smurfit Kappa senior management team will also discuss 2009 fourth quarter and full year financial performance with international analysts & institutional investors on a conference call scheduled for 15.30 GMT (10.30 ET) on 10 February, 2010.
