Dublin, London, 28 July, 2010: Smurfit Kappa Group plc (‘SKG’ or the ‘Group’), one of the world’s largest integrated manufacturers of paper-based packaging products with operations in Europe and Latin America, today confirmed it will release its 2010 second quarter and first half results on Wednesday, 11 August 2010 at 07.00 BST (02.00 ET).

The Group's senior management team will host a presentation, for analysts & institutional investors, at 12.00 BST (07.00 ET) on 11 August 2010, in the Fenchurch Room at The Andaz Hotel, 40 Liverpool Street, London EC2M.

Those who are unable to attend will have the opportunity to participate live in the event by conference call. There will also be a listen-only webcast of the event on the company website, www.smurfitkappa.com.
