Director/PDMR Shareholding
Tate & Lyle PLC (the 'Company') was informed on 12 June 2006 that on 12 June
2006 Mr John Nicholas, a Person Discharging Managerial Responsibility and, as
previously announced on 25 May 2006, appointed Group Finance Director and a
member of the Board of the Company from the close of the Annual General Meeting
on 19 July 2006, had purchased 35,000 ordinary shares of 25 pence each in the
capital of the Company at 571 pence per share. Mr Nicholas had not previously
reported holding an interest in the shares of the Company.
The notification of this transaction is intended to satisfy the Company's
obligations under both section 324 Companies Act 1985 and Disclosure Rule 3.1.2.
