Sir Peter Gershon, Chairman of Tate & Lyle PLC (the “Company”) and the Company were both informed on 19 July 2013 that he had acquired an interest in four ordinary 25p shares in the Company (“Shares”) on 15 January 2013 at a price of 763.91 pence per share. Sir Peter Gershon now holds a total of 70,142 Shares in the Company.

This notification is made in accordance with DTR 3.1.4R(1)(a) of the FSA’s Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
