Tate & Lyle PLC - Board Change
Tate & Lyle PLC announces that Mr. Larry Pillard is to relinquish his
position as Chief Executive to take up the position of Executive
Chairman of the Tetra Laval Group upon the retirement of the present
Executive Chairman. Mr. Pillard will remain on the Board of Tate &
Lyle as a Non-Executive Director.
Tate & Lyle has commenced the process of selecting a new Chief
Executive with the intention of completing this process before Mr.
Pillard leaves the Company to take up his new appointment at the end
of the year.

Tate & Lyle to refocus on our core businesses and improve our
