Bovis Homes Group PLC BOVIS HOMES GROUP PLC NEW BOARD APPOINTMENTS Following the pre-close period trading update, in which we stated that we expected to see 8% growth in selling prices over 2003 and that reservations were 25% ahead of last year, the Board has reviewed the structure required to deliver the growth in volume projected over the coming years. We are pleased to be able to advise of the following new appointments to the Bovis Homes Board:- Mr Michael Black has been appointed Group Production and Quality Control Director. This new role will add structure and support to the build and customer care requirements of the Group. Mr. Michael Black is 40 years of age. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Builders and his current position within the Group is that of Build Director in the South East Region. Mr Alastair Thomas has been appointed Group Commercial and Strategic Land Director. This new role will enable greater exploitation of mixed development opportunities as well as adding additional resources relating to our important strategic landholdings. Mr. Alastair Thomas is 42 years of age. He is a Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and his current position within the Group is that of Property Development Director. We are currently recruiting for a third position, namely, Group Corporate Systems Director, which will provide further resources to enable our continuous improvement programme to deliver increased efficiencies. As a result of these changes Mr. Stephen Brazier, Group Operations Director, has decided to leave the Company and has resigned as a director of the Company with effect from 31st July, 2004.
