Bovis Homes Group PLC Bovis Homes Group PLC Update on major development scheme at Filton Airfield, Bristol 9 November 2007 Further to the update provided at the Analysts and Investor meeting on Wednesday 7 November, Bovis Homes Group PLC ('The Group') is pleased to be able to confirm that its scheme at North Field, Filton Airfield, Bristol was agreed to by the Planning Committee of South Gloucestershire County Council yesterday evening. This agreement, in the form of a resolution to grant consent, is a major step forward in the achievement of an exciting major scheme for 2,200 new homes in North Bristol, which will feature the ancillary creation of new business and employment opportunities and the improvement of educational, community and recreational facilities, as well as contributing to the regeneration of its local neighbourhood. The commitment of the Group to sustainable development is evident in the provision of landscaping and open green spaces and the retention of existing ancient hedgerows and trees, including Filton Wood. The scheme also provides for a substantial contribution to the stock of affordable housing in the area and for dedicated bus and pedestrian links. The Group now anticipates that the section 106 agreement will be signed, and outline planning consent issued, before the end of the year, with a start on site for its infrastructure commitments during the first half of 2008, and with commencement of first phase housing development during that year. -0- *T Enquiries: Malcolm Harris, Chief Executive Bovis Homes Group PLC Tel: 01474 876200 Emily Bruning Shared Value Limited Tel: 07879 426358 *T
