Young & Co.’s Brewery, P.L.C. (the “Company”)
Notification pursuant to rule 17 of the AIM Rules

On Monday, 22 March 2010, each of the following directors in the Company sold the following number of A shares at 500p per share:

1. Stephen Goodyear, the Company’s chief executive - 5,378 A shares;

2. Torquil Sligo-Young, the Company’s human and information resources director - 4,770 A shares;

3. Peter Whitehead, the Company’s finance director - 2,984 A shares; and

4. Patrick Dardis, the Company’s retail director - 8,376 A shares.

On the same day, Peter Whitehead gifted 10,568 A shares to his wife.

The Company was notified of each of the above events on Monday, 22 March 2010.

In this notification, reference to an “A share” is to an A share of 12.5p in the Company’s capital.
